Welcome to Knowle PROBUS
Knowle Probus is a local association of retired and semi-retired men in Knowle, Solihull. The name was an amalgam of the abbreviation of the words PROfessional and BUSiness although it is now open to all.
Starting in the 1960s, there are now over 1,500 clubs throughout the UK, plus others in Australia, New Zealand and across the world.
Knowle Probus provides an opportunity for like-minded retirees to meet over lunch and enjoy a talk on a variety of topics. The members come from a wide range of interesting backgrounds and enjoy the camaraderie from belonging to the organisation. Wives and partners are invited to a lunch in July and again in December. Social activities are organised during the year and wives, partners and guests are welcome to join us.
